Taking It Back
Due to the complications of my Multiple Sclerosis my thyroid has stopped working. The joys of not having a properly working thyroid I have gain a few or like sixty. Now granted all of that weight gain can’t be blamed on just my thyroid, or even the birth of my son, I am to blame as well. I had been going to the gym but my boyfriend got put onto the shut-down circuit, making it very difficult to fit time into the gym. However after the New Years things will be going back to normal, thank you God! This means that my New Years resolution not too shockingly is going to be losing weight. With Josh having weekends off it will be the perfect time to start going back to the gym.
On top of the typical benefits of weight loss I have another reason to get back to my original weight, my Multiple Sclerosis. The additional weight has a tendency of causing additional flairs, which is difficult not just on me and my body but the entire family.
With most my friends and family living at least twenty minutes away I have little support besides Josh. My plan is to use this blog to help give me additional incentive to succeed. I will write a blog the first of every week with an update on my progress. My goal is to loss two pounds a week for a year, this way I am not pushing myself to do anything unhealthy! And at the end of the year if I succeed I will be giving everything in my closet to charity, and buying all brand new.
